What you are doing is amazing for the Bulgarian Street Dogs!! I just found your site after searching for more information on Bulgarian Street Dogs.

I've been following the Rowles family story the last week and trying to help them.

Your family and the Rowles family are both amazing familes in trying to help these poor dogs.

The Rowles family is an English Couple who moved to Bulgaria in 2007. They have saved lots of street dogs, and been able to get some adopted and trying to create awareness & education about Animal Welfare (even though language barriers are a problem).

They have been trying to set up a shelter for the Street dogs they save and set up an immunizaion program in Rudozem and Adoption process. Unfortunately the council in Rudozem has now told them they can't have any land - so they will have to look at purchasing land.

I think what you are both doing is amazing and I have alot of respect for you both!! xxx

Hello,

I rescued a dog from the streets of Sofia. After a visit to the vet and afterr 24 hours sleep and a few weeks good food he is doing really well now.
The problem is that i don't live her permentally, but in Barcelona, where i already have a streetdag. I am just 2 months here to visit the country with my bulgarian friend. I am trying to find an option now to get him to Holland. I am originally from there.
But i am afraid it is not going to work out.
I wondered if there is a possbillity if you could take care of Tonto and maybe find him a home here in his own country, which to me seems a good solution if I don't have another option. I would be happy to sponsor a fixed amount to your acount every month to take care about the uncosts. And would be happy to help in the future as well, with support of money or supplies.
I am really shocked with the situation here an with the plans they have to just kill the dogs to get rid of the problem.
