Ann Curry
Founder and Chairperson
Founder of the Anglo-Bulgarian Association for the Protection of Dogs registered charity number 148137127. Ann and husband John have lived in Bulgaria for 4 years. In England they worked with several animal shelters and founded 4 training schools for dogs (all of which are still running).
They have 2 dogs of their own. They also care for 3 young dogs which are ready now for adoption. They were saddened by the dogs living on the streets of Varna and outlying areas. Although the Varna dogs are on the whole well fed and safe, those on the outskirts do not do so well. They felt something had to be done.
Margaret
Event Co-Ordinator
Margaret and husband Ben, who is retired, have lived in Bulgaria for 2 years. Although they are working on renovating a house they both still find time to support the ABAPD. They work hard surfing the internet publicising the cause and hunting for individuals and organisations who might help with funds. They have nine dogs and one kitten. Yes, nine.
Marie
Marie has recently become a member of the team, and both Marie & husband Brian work hard for the Association.
